Nike Dunk Low LX Blue Suede Women
When: Monday 13th
Where: Nike SNKRS
Price: $120
This Dunk Low LX Blue Suede is an offering that subtly echoes the acclaimed Dunk Low Jackie Robinson model released last year. As you may or may not know, the LX here stands for Luxury, meaning the materials used are of higher quality than seen on typical Dunks. In this pair’s case, this means they lean into an extensive suede fabrication with leather also making an appearance. The colorway opts for a light tan upper and prominent Royal Blue overlays, making it somewhat of a departure from the more binary colorways typically seen on the Dunk in recent years.
Meanwhile, contrasting elements include obsidian accents on the swooshes and heels. The sneaker sits on a sail-colored midsole with a matching blue rubber outsole. The outsole uses a different shade of blue than what is seen elsewhere on the sneaker, adding an additional layer of contrast. Despite the suede-dominated composition, leather elements have been incorporated on the upper, specifically on the swoosh and tongue label.
Nike Dunk Low “Glow In The Dark”
When: Tuesday 14th
Where: Nike SNKRS
Price: $110
Tuesday sees a couple of good Nike Dunk Low releases. Among these is this eye-catching, glow-in-the-dark pair. Of course, it’s not the first time and probably won’t be the last time Nike has released a glow-in-the-dark dunk but this one looks different to most others.
The shoe features a volt upper that is constructed out of a shiny base and leather overlays, allowing the sneaker to glow in the dark (providing they’ve been charged up during daylight hours). This contrasts nicely with the black featured on the swoosh, the orange heel, and the neon green lining. Final details see a white midsole whilst the glow-in-the-dark features continue with the outsole.
Fragment x Clot x Nike Dunk Low
When: Tuesday 14th
Where: Nike SNKRS
Price: $150
Without a doubt, the best pair on this list from a reselling point of view and arguably a design point of view is this Fragment x Clot x Nike iteration of the Dunk Low. This long-anticipated collaboration is now finally set to release on Tuesday. It won’t be the first time CLOT and Fragment have collaborated on a sneaker, with the pair releasing a range of Air Force 1’s in 2019. Now though, they have teamed up on a masterpiece of a Dunk Low.
The pair will feature a white tearaway silk upper and black leather eyelets that sit on top of a translucent off-white outsole. Of course, the pair also features branding details on the insoles whilst “FRGMT” dons the heel. Whilst more expensive than your typical dunk, it’s hard to argue this one isn’t worth the price, with the collab being one of the most hyped this year.
Nike Dunk Low “Unlock Your Space” Women
When: Thursday 15th
Where: Nike SNKRS
Price: $120
Next up is another unique twist on the iconic Dunk design. This women’s Nike Dunk Low is presented in an official color palette of White, Multi-Color, Ice Blue, Phantom, and Light Menta, which certainly goes a long way to contributing to the shoe’s eye-catching aesthetic.
This design features a clean white leather upper while the overlays follow a gradient pattern, transitioning from light to dark teal and from light to dark purple throughout the design. A white rubber midsole is paired with ice-like transparent blue outsoles. Finally, the tongue tag displays the motif, “Unlock Your Space”, which is of course also the name given to this unique sneaker.
Nike Dunk Low SE “Rainbow Trout”
When: Friday 16th
Where: Nike SNKRS
Price: $110
Releasing Friday are two variations of Nike Dunk Low SE’s “Gone Fishing”. For this list, we have chosen the “Rainbow Trout” variant. This interesting look contains a variety of materials including mesh, suede, leather, and canvas. The majority of the shoe is dominated by dark olive suede overlays and a base layer featuring a black and speckled yellow pattern, resembling a trout. Meanwhile, the iconic swoosh takes on a unique design, resembling a hook tooth. Finally, a trout-branded canvas tongue tab finishes off the fishy look of this one.
