Job Responsibilities
– Handling all of the following marketing recruitment-related responsibilities.
– Reaching out to prospect talent via online forums and social media.
– Networking and building connections to find and approach talent.
– Creating and distributing job posts for required positions.
– Working closely with the VP of Operations and CEO to identify positions that need filling.
– Reviewing and scoring applications and candidates for all positions.
– Shortlisting top talent and arranging interviews with said talent.
– Improving and optimizing hiring practices and processes to improve the success rate of new hires.
– Co-running interviews alongside the CEO of Valiant.
Required Qualifications
– 5+ years experience in digital marketing, 1+ year in marketing talent recruitment, or 1+ year experience running a marketing agency.
– Must be a resident of the United States of America and have work authorization.
– Willing to commit to working full-time exclusively for our company (cannot be in school, running your own business, or working other jobs).
– Experience working at a marketing agency, running a marketing agency, offering marketing or hiring marketing talent.
– Experience with at least 2 of the following marketing mediums: search advertising, social media advertising, organic social media marketing, seo/blog writing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer marketing
– A deep understanding of what makes for a good hire and what things to look out for when looking for.
– Experience with editing short-form or long-form video content for social media.
– Proven track record of getting companies’ social media engagement and growing pages on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, and other social media platforms.
– A deep understanding of how social media algorithms work and how to increase viewer retention.
– Must be fluent in English and capable of writing or adjusting scripts, captions, etc.
Nice To Have Qualifications
– Experience creating content on any of the following social media channels: Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, X or YouTube Shorts.
– Experience with any of the following advertising platforms: Instagram Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Facebook Ads, X (fka Twitter) Ads, Bing Ads or YouTube Ads.
– Experience with any of the following email marketing tools: Mailchimp, SendGrid, Sendy, Mailmodo, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, HubSpot, Marketo, or any other reputable email-sending software.
– An understanding of what content will generate engagement (views, likes, comments, etc) and ultimately website traffic, on social media.
– Previous experience starting a business or experience working at smaller companies/startups.
– Bachelors or Masters in digital marketing, consumer behavior, public relations, or equivalent experience.
– Knowledge, or interest in sports betting, trading, reselling, or e-commerce.
– Based in Florida or willing to travel to Miami from time to time to meet up with the team.
