At Juiced we’re building the future of selling online – where resellers can easily source, list and manage their inventory with the click of a button.

Juiced is a reseller platform that currently provides tailored product recommendations, cross-marketplace listing, inventory/order management, seller analytics, 70+ educational tutorials, and much more for online sellers.

 

This is just the start though. Our vision is to build the 1st ever fully autonomous selling platform, where sellers can run their business on autopilot with little intervention required. Utilizing the power of AI-driven algorithms to connect our existing semi-automatic infrastructure, and with plans for a large Series A later this year, we hope to make this a reality over the coming years.

Despite working on our platform for 3 years now, we’re still in our early days. In March last year, we raised $100k in investment from 2 angel investors. Besides this, we’ve mainly bootstrapped our company to date, leveraging various ventures such as Juiced’s Discord membership, a marketing agency, and other revenue streams to sustain us as we developed Juiced’s software platform – which for us was always the long-term goal.

 

Our team currently consists of three co-founders: Ben, overseeing CEO and business operations in the US; Shubham, serving as CTO and handling backend development in India; and Suraj, our CPO focusing on frontend development, also based in India. Additionally we have 3 full time contractors that work on the marketing side of the business.

 

As we reach a pivotal stage in our growth, we recognize the need to expand our team beyond our 2 technical co-founders and to switch from remote work to in-person work here in Miami. Therefore, we are actively seeking a full-time Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the team.

💸 $48,000 to $60,000 in annual salary (compensation is flexible based on skills, experience, and accomplishments).

👑 20,000 3-year stock options and 20,000 performance-based stock options (equivalent to around 4% equity at this current time).

What the job entails

– Working around the clock writing code to expand the Juiced platform alongside the other co-founders. This will include working on our frontend, backend, and system design.

– Building out new features including new 3rd party marketplace integrations, expanding existing marketplace integrations, building new automated systems and implementing AI into existing features.

– Maintaining existing features which will involve learning the ins and outs of our frontend and backend code base.

– In your role, you’ll be instrumental in being a leader for existing and future developers. This will include ensuring the team’s productivity and morale remains high through excellent collaboration with teams in other geographies.

– In addition, you’ll help build and directly oversee our infrastructure focused on supporting critical components of our infrastructure stack – Compute, Storage, Networking, and Developer tools.

– Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement.

– Establish a solid project framework and excellent development processes.

– Drive an excellent customer experience, with a user-first approach. We figure out the best way to serve our customers and work our way backward to the technology. Not the other way around.

– Provide technical and architectural oversight for the development, design, integration, testing, and maintenance of Infrastructure products

– Manage technical debt to ensure our development velocity stays high while minimizing production incidents in our operations.

 

Application requirements

– At least 3 years of expertise with each of the primary technologies listed here and generally speaking experience with frontend, backend, and system design.

– At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer. Ideally 7-10+ years experience.

– Must be willing to work hard and live the startup lifestyle. Yes everyone needs time off from time to time, but don’t expect regular 9/5 hours with weekends off. This is a startup after all.

– Must have a positive/winners personality with leadership qualities.

– Must be very passionate about the product and ideally have experience or some knowledge around online selling.

– Must be compatible with our work environment (fun/casual environment and extremely passionate about what we’re building).

– Must be US-based and willing to live in Miami (either by living in our company apartment/workspace with the team, or within a 1 hour of our location and willing to come in-person to work).

– Ideally, but not required; previous experience founding a startup or an early employee at one.
