Job Responsibilities
– Handling all of the following paid advertising-related responsibilities.
– Creating and managing paid advertising campaigns.
– Managing our graphic designer and copywriter to create well-thought-out advertising creatives.
– Communicating with clients multiple times per day to provide updates, conversate, and answer questions.
– Coordinating and managing any future paid advertising hires to ensure we maintain expectations and get clients results.
– Hosting and organizing weekly catch-up meetings and monthly performance recaps with all clients using our paid advertising services.
– Hosting and organizing daily stand-up meetings and weekly performance reviews with all relevant paid advertising staff.
– Setting up proper conversion tracking to closely monitor conversions and other KPIs.
– A/B testing ads, ad sets and campaigns to optimize for the best possible results.
– Adjusting the copy of ads to optimize for conversions.
– Working with our website developer to create and optimize funnels/landing pages for campaigns.
– Monitoring campaign performance and adjusting campaigns based on CTRs, conversions, conversion rates and other KPIs.
– Work closely with other marketers to ensure paid advertising campaigns align with client strategies and brand visions.
Required Qualifications
– 3+ years of experience as a paid advertising manager.
– Must be a resident of the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
– Willing to commit to working full-time exclusively for our company (cannot be in school, running your own business, or working other jobs).
– Experience with at least 1 of the following advertising platforms: Instagram Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Facebook Ads, X (fka Twitter) Ads, Bing Ads and YouTube Ads.
– Experience with at least 1 of the following analytics and reporting tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Platform-specific pixels (eg: Meta Pixel, X Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc), and other reputable analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Databox, Data Studio, etc.
– A deep understanding of what creatives and copywriting will generate conversions on social media, especially on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, Instagram Feed, and YouTube.
– Experience with running video ads (preferably short-form vertical video content on TikTok or Instagram Reels).
– Proven track record of getting companies’ return on ad spend (ROAS) within a reasonable time frame and most importantly at scale.
– Experience with retargeting based on clicks, email lists, and other core data points.
– Experience optimizing (and preferably creating) funnels using Webflow, ClickFunnels, WordPress, Wix, Leadpages, Whop, Patreon, Gumroad, Shopify, or any other platform that allows for no-code landing pages or sale of digital services.
– Experience with mid-sized to larger-sized advertising budgets (experience with managing at least $10k+ monthly ad spend is required).
– A deep understanding of different KPIs for subscription-based businesses (MRR, churn rate, trial conversion rate, etc).
– Experience running paid advertising for SAAS businesses, online paid communities, or other digital services outside E-Commerce stores.
– Must be fluent in English and capable of writing or adjusting copy for ads when required.
– Experience with attribution and analytics tools such as Google Attribution, SegMetrics, Triple Whale, Hyros, Branch, and Adjust.
– Experience with bid management and automation tools (Marin Software, Kenshoo (Skai), WordStream, Optmyzr, etc).
– Experience with keyword research and competitive analysis tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, SpyFu, Keyword Planner (within Google Ads), etc).
– Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools including Optimizely, Unbounce, VWO (Visual Website Optimizer), Google Optimize, and other similiar tools.
– Experience with creative and ad design tools (Adobe, Canva, After Effects, etc) for adjusting ad creatives when convenient or when our design team is pre-occupied.
– Experience with Zapier or using paid advertising APIs (Google Ads API, Facebook Marketing API, etc).
– Previous experience starting a business or experience working at smaller companies/startups.
– Capable of writing JavaScript and Python for scripting and automating repetitive tasks.
– Bachelors or Masters in digital marketing, consumer behavior, public relations, or equivalent experience.
– Knowledge, or interest in reselling, online selling, or e-commerce.
– Based in Florida or willing to travel to Miami from time to time to meet up with the team.
