Welcome to Juiced’s Flip Of The Week for the week of June 26th – July 2nd. In this series of articles, we reveal our favourite (not necessarily the most profitable) product of the week each Sunday, allowing you to get a sneak peek of the rewards reaped by Juiced members. This week we have a rather unique item from Elon Musk’s The Boring Company.

The Boring Company, Elon Musk’s unorthodox infrastructure and tunnelling firm, has carved a niche for itself, often grabbing headlines for its unconventional products. Beyond tunnelling tech, its foray into bizarre merchandise has raised eyebrows and brought humour to what is typically a mundane industry.

It famously released a flamethrower, humorously dubbed “Not-a-Flamethrower,”. A gadget designed for a zombie apocalypse, it demonstrated Musk’s ability to inject an element of sci-fi into reality. This ethos continued with “Boring Bricks,” eco-friendly, compressed earth bricks made from tunnelling rock. Priced cheaper than traditional bricks, and with a playful promise of constructing life-size LEGO-like structures, these bricks merged sustainability and creativity. Through these whimsical releases, the Boring Company has found a way to make tunnelling exciting, proving that even the most ordinary industries can become platforms for innovation and fun.

This week, the company released a bottle of perfume named “Burn’t Hair Perfume”. Supposedly only 30,000 bottles were made of this, meaning there was always going to be high demand among Elon’s many fanboys. Luckily, Juiced members were able to capitalise on this demand as they were informed once this strange item came in stock, in a testament to how far our reach stretches when it comes to finding profitable items to resell. The bottle was priced at $100, making it admittedly high-risk. However, for our members who took that risk, there was a high reward with prices soon reaching over $200 on eBay. Whilst prices have now fallen, this was an easy potential doubling of your money if you bought at the right time.
