At Juiced we’re building the future of selling online – where resellers can easily source, list and manage their inventory with the click of a button.

Juiced is a reseller platform that currently provides tailored product recommendations, cross-marketplace listing, inventory/order management, seller analytics, 70+ educational tutorials, and much more for online sellers. This is just the start though. Our vision is to build the a fully autonomous AI-powered platform that can run someone’s online resale business with little to no effortr. utilising the power of AI driven algorithms to connect our existing semi-automatic infrastructure, and with plans for a large Series A round later this year, we hope to make this a reality over the next 2 years.

Despite working on our platform for 3 years now, we’re still in our early days. In March last year, we secured $100k in investment for 10% equity from 2 angel investors. Besides this, we’ve mainly bootstrapped our company to date, leveraging various ventures such as Juiced’s Discord membership, a marketing agency, and other revenue streams to sustain us as we developed Juiced’s software platform – which for us was always the long term goal.

Our team currently consists of three co-founders: Ben, overseeing CEO and business operations in the US; Shubham, serving as CTO and handling backend development in India; and Suraj, our CPO focusing on frontend development, also based in India. Additionally we have 3 full time contractors that work on the marketing side of the business.

As we reach a pivotal stage in our growth, we recognize the need to expand our team beyond our 2 technical co-founders and to switch from remote work to in-person work here in Miami. Therefore, we are actively seeking a full-time VP of Engineering and a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team. These new hires are crucial to our upcoming launch, scheduled in just two months.

What the job entails

– Working around the clock writing code to expand the Juiced platform alongside the other co-founders. This will primarily involved you working on our frontend and UI design.

– Building out the frontend of new features including new pages, forms, navigation, and more.

– Maintaining existing features which will involve learning the ins and outs of our frontend code base.

– In your role as Senior frontend engineer, you’ll be instrumental in being a leader for existing and future frontend developers. This will include ensuring the team’s productivity and morale remains high through excellent collaboration with teams in other geographies.

– Establish a solid project framework and excellent development processes.

– Drive an excellent customer experience, with a user-first approach. We figure out the best way to serve our customers and work our way backward to the technology. Not the other way around.

– Provide technical and architectural oversight for the development, design, integration, testing, and maintenance of Infrastructure products

– Manage technical debt to ensure our development velocity stays high while minimizing production incidents in our operations.

– Work closely with our other Senior frontend engineer to design UI and UX that are simple yet affective for our users.

Application requirements

– At least 3 years of expertise with the majority of the frontend related technologies listed here.

– At least 3 years of experience as a frontend developer.

– Must be willing to work hard and live the startup lifestyle. Yes everyone needs time off from time to time, but don’t expect regular 9/5 hours with weekends off. This is a startup after all.

– Must have a positive/winners personality with leadership qualities.

– Must be very passionate about the product and ideally have experience or some knowledge around online selling.

– Must be compatible with our work environment (fun/casual environment and extremely passionate about what we’re building).

– Must be US-based and willing to live in Miami (either by living in our company apartment/workspace with the team, or within a 1 hour of our location and willing to come in-person to work).

– Ideally, but not required; previous experience founding a startup or an early employee at one.
